Skills & skill sacks
Every class has 45 skills. You do not learn them with points, you draw them from skill sacks. All skills of your class are listed on its class page.
How a draw works
- From level 2 you can open skill sacks.
- A draw costs sacks, and every further draw costs more: 5, 8, 12, 18, 25. After that the last price stays.
- You draw a skill of your class that you do not own yet, or one you own that has not reached its max rank. A duplicate raises the rank.
- Once a skill is maxed it leaves the pot, which makes the remaining ones more likely.
Rarity
How deep a skill sits in the tree decides its rarity:
| Rarity | Chance per draw |
|---|---|
| Common | 52 % |
| Rare | 31 % |
| Epic | 16 % |
| Legendary (ultimates) | 1 % |
Equipping
- You carry up to 4 active skills.
- The slots are tiered: slot 1 only takes common skills, slot 2 up to rare, slot 3 up to epic, slot 4 takes anything.
- Passive skills work as soon as you own them and give permanent stats.
Where do skill sacks come from?
- City missions: the daily mission and a one-time mission chain pay in skill sacks.
- Frost Cavern: some stages have skill sacks in their loot.
- Campaign: some first clears.
- Gem shop: bundles and a free monthly offer.
Tips
- Rank matters: every rank makes an attack skill stronger (usually +12 % damage per rank).
- Watch the elements: some skills deal more damage right after a skill of a certain element (holy or fire, for example). The order of your skills matters.
- Ultimates are rare, but from level 60 they are worth a lot.
